Cédric holds an engineering degree from Polytechnique of Orléans University, Master’s degree in energy and materials and a PhD degree in plasma physics and materials science from the Orléans University of France. His PhD consisted in the process development for novel low temperature plasma synthetized nano-carbon based biosensors. He has experience in the PECVD process development for conducting polymers, biocompatible surfaces, metal (oxide) catalysts and carbon nanotubes as well as in plasma-based nitrogen fixation and plasma-liquid interactions. He is now a post-doctoral fellow under the supervision of Pr. Stephan Reuter and Prof. M. Wertheimer and he is currently working on several projects such as the implementation of confocal laser microscopy in the laboratory and in plasmas for medical and environmental applications.
