Master’s student in Physics Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal since 2021.

Previously: Bachelor’s in Physics Engineering, Polytechnique Montréal

Funding:

  • FRQNT Master’s Scholarship (2021)
  • TransMedTech Master’s Scholarship (2021)
  • General Director Scholarship Polytechnique Montréal (2016)
  • NSERC Undergraduate Research Internship Scholarship (2020)

Research interests:

  • Plasma physics
  • Microfluidics
  • Cancer applications

Julien holds a bachelor’s in physics engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and enrolled in a Master’s under the supervision of Pr. Stephan Reuter together with Pr. Sylvain Coulombe from the Chemical Engineering Department of McGill University. The goal of his project is the coupling of biomedical plasma sources to microfluidic devices. Effective plasma-microfluidic coupling will enable the study of plasma cancer treatment with microfluidic embedded 3D cell cultures.
