In his last year as a bachelor’s student in physics engineering at Polytechnique of Montréal, Jean-Baptiste has worked as an intern and research associate at the Plasma Physics and Spectroscopy Lab (PPSL), developing new types of microplasmas devices and heat/flow simulations of cold plasma devices. During his internships at INRS, Polytechnique Montréal and at Servo-Robot, he has developed strong skills in artificial intelligence, computer science, plasma physics and optics. He started his Master’s degree in 2022 in the plasma medicine domain under the close supervision of Pr. Stephan Reuter and Dr. Derek Rosenzweig from McGill University. His project consists in developing a promising type of plasma treatment for bone cancer and orthopaedic infections.
